Asked to collaborate with a local horticulture company in Michigan, Ms. Hoeksema provided art consultation for a developing green roof system. The consult included insight for creating variations of seedum combinations, based on color, growth height, and seasonal growth patterns. These different combinations shaped different effects for green roofs that related to different architectural materials and building aesthetics and uses. These systems are being implemented nationally.
